Abstract
Wheat is considered one of the most important Field crops in Egypt either in
its uses or in its cultivated area that was about 2.985 million feddan in 2005 , and of
an average production nearly 16.04 Ardab per feddan all over the country . The ratio
of binge self sufficient of wheat is about 64.61 % in 2005.
The results showed that there was an increase in the area , feddan production , prices
, total profit and net profit as well in the period from 1995 to 2005.
Studying the analysis of variance between the average of both costs, feddan
production among governorates from 1995 to 2005 showed abstract differences
between the total costs , feddan production but there were no abstract differences of
the net feddan profit among governorates.
Studying the analysis of variance between the average production of some
varieties in the most important governorates which are famous for producing wheat in
the period from 1999 to 2005 showed abstract differences among the varieties in all
governorates except Al Behira governorate .Gimza 9 comes in the first place in Al
Garbia governorate of about an average production 21.06 Ardab per Feddan , And
the total production can be increased to 12.83 if the governorate cultivates the
varieties. in Kafer El shit-c the varieties Gimza F , Sahk 69 , Giza 168 , Bank 8 , are in
the first place of an average production 1857, Ardab , and the total production can be
increased to 13.339 thousand Ardab when in the governorate uses these varieties .
In Dakahlia governorate _ the Giza 168 are in the first place of an average
production 22.29 Ardab if the governorate cultivates this varieties the total production
can be increased to 14.6 % .
In Asuit governorate the total production can be increased to 12.3% if the
governorate cultivates the varieties Sids 1 , Giza 168 , Giza 164 .But in Souhag
governorate the total production can be increased to 10.61% more than was in the
period of the study if the governorate cultivates these varieties Sids 1 , Giza 168 ,
That has an average production of about 20.65 Aradab.
