Abstract
Cotton crop is one of the important crops at the local and
international level as well. because various manufactures depend on it. In
addition to it's first class among all agricultural exports, where it represents
about 25% of the total agricultural exports value in 200:.
The present study aims to the comparison of costs cotton before and
after the applying of this program for the study assessment of the production
and the value of the chemicals in general, and the using chemicals which
stmggle the cotton blights especially, and the of the relations for the effect
stimulus on the using amount of chemicals which uses to struggle the Blight.
Integrated pest management procedures are considered of the main
agricultural production processes. Where the pest and disease control costs
vary between 20-30% of the total production costs. And the losses resulted
from the pest infection vary between 35-50% of the total production.
It is revealed that the gross costs of manual control of cotton pests in
Egypt during (1980-2004) was unstable among increases and decreases. It is
the gross costs of fermions control of cotton pests in Egypt during (1980-
2004) was unstable among increases and decreases. They reached the
minimum value with 7.5 L .E (1987) ,and the maximum value with 69.2 L .E
(1995) ,with an average of 37.7 L .E (1980-2004).
The results show : some parmetares economic efficiency for the
egyptaian cotton before and aftar Integrated pest management as fadden
return net, added value, benefit-cost of ratio, benefit ratio and return of pound
investe rate were higher aftar Integrated pest management (1991-2004)
compare period before Integrated pest management (19980-1990).
