Abstract
Wheat crop is considered one of the most important cereal crops
because of its uses in both human and animal feeding .
The state —represented in the specificinstites —recently try to increase
the production of cereals .especially ofwheat and maize which are the main
cereal crops in Egypt .
The main objective of this study is to determine the affected factors of
the area cultivated by wheat crop in bath Eldakhalia governorate and the
Arab republic of Egypt levels through the (19882005) period .
The study indicated the following :
About dakahlia governorate level , the price of ardab of wheat , the
elasticity of reOpens was 045 for the previous mentioned factors .
And the fadan yield in ardab , the relative prices between wheat
And broad been are determinants in the previous .
About Arab republic of Egypt level , the price of ardab of wheat in the
previous and the relative cost between broad been and wheat are the
determinants .
The elasticity of response was 5.9 and 0.80 for the provirus mentioned
factors respectively .
