THE IMPORTANT OF RATIO FOR THE FARM INCOME FOR COTTON CROP IN EGYPT

Abstract
There is no doubt that the net return per feddan is the main indicator
for encouraging the farmers to increase or decrease the cultivated area for
any crop .
The Cotton crop is considered one of the important profitable crops
which most people depend on it in getting most of their needs connected with
social life, and also the conditions of life . It is also considered of a great
industrial value. Because it is considered the raw material for many industries
for textiles and oil industries and as food for animals . And it is alsoIr
considered one of the exporting crops in the country which contribute mostly
in Saving foreign currencies .
The study indicated that the decreasing of the cotton income by
ascription for the total of Agricultural production income during 1990-1992 c
2000-2002 periods . The study Also shows that the decreasing of net return
per Feddan for the cotton crop by comparison for net return for per Feddan
for the some other crops during 1990-1992 — 2001-2003 periods
Finally. the study presented several recommendation that could help < /p>
to increase the net return per Feddan for the Cotton crop .
