Abstract
The research aimed mainly to identify the cooperational leaders and farmers
knowledge level of the cotton and rise crops marketing practices in Kafer Elshik
Governorates, also to identify the respondents resources from Which they get such
practices , their sutable extension communication methodes, and their problemes in
the field of cotton and Rise marketing .
Aquestionnair was prepared and used to collect data through presonal
Interview from 166 respondents ( 60 co-operatlonal leaders, and 106 farmers).
Percentages, means, frequency distribution, standard divation, simple correlation.
partial coeticient regresion, step..wise regression, T test and F test were utilized to
analyze data
The findings were summarized as follows:
- low knowledge level of co-operational leaders and farmers of some Cotton and Rise
crops practices, such as the use of chemical fertilizeres, the pesticides and use of
bio-bestetdes
- The independent variables explain 41.6 % from the variance of leards knowledge·-
levelabout Cotton crop marketing practices, and explain 32.6 % from the variance
of farmers knowledge a bout Cotton crop marketing practices
- The independent variables explain 44.1 % from the variance of leaders knowledge
level a bout Rise crop marketing practices, and the respondents favourite: Agri.
Co-operation director, Agri. Change agent, and T.v. as communication methodes
              in this regard.                                                                                         ~

Cotton and Rise marketing
