AN ANALYCTAL STUDY OF ARD EL-KHEIR PAGE ISSUED ON AKHBAR EL-YOUM NEWS PAPER THROUGH MAY 1999 UNTIL DECEMBER 2001

This study was conducted to analyzed the content and the shape of Ard
EI-Kheir page which was issued on Akhbar EI-Youm Newspaper through May
1999 until December 2001.
The total number of studied page were 83, they represent 32
Newspapers copies.
The area of one page was 1632 cm² and the total of studied pages
area was 135456 cm² Frequencies and percentage were used to analyze
data.
The most important findings could be summarized as follows:
Advertisement news took place the first percentage of the total areas
(24.77%).
Individual, groups photos' news were the second percentage (19.84%).
The news of increasing agricultural productivity were the third
percentage (13.10%).
Agricultural economy news were the fourth percentage (8.91 %).
Agricultural credit organization news were the fifth percentage (7.87%).
The results also showed that the percentage of uncolored main titles
was 88.04%; the percentage of coloured pages was 72.29%; the percentage
of coloured advertisements was 67.74%; the percentage of uncoloured
        pictures was 61.91%.                                        .
The percentage of pictures that include personage was 58.57% and the
percentage of pictures with written explaining was 53.80%.
