Abstract
This study aims to evaluate optimum monthly rate of fishing in the state
of certain and probable risk, in order to evaluate expected risk cos! • and thus
to formulate proposed strategy for facing risk and minimizing its probabiiities.
this is done for increasing fish treasure in Egypt.
The study lead to that optimum rate of fish production in accordance to
certain and risk probabHities that maximize fishing units retums decrease
than actual production rates by 25.25% , 38.93% ror Ml:!itrenean sea fishing
zones and by 17.51%, 32.51% lor Red sea fishing zones. respectively.
Also, total risk cost due to unjust fishing evaluated by about 218.36 and
141.92 Million pounds for each 01 Midilrenean sea and Red sea fisring
zones, respectively.
The study proposed intiat"lng an integrated insurance system for fish
treasure . Also, revealed the importance of constructing specialized guiding
organizations to advice fishermen by an intcrrnat'ons md details dealS With
fishing. More over to carry out specialized cornrnitues tha take over reViewing
a\l legal instructions concerned with decreasing martime ollution levels, and
care for fishermen social secunty .
