THE RESOURCES OF THE INVESTMENTS IN THE EGYPTIAN AGRICUL rURAL SECTOR PLAN

The investments are considered one of major items in the social and
economic growth pian. Despite of the importance and significance of the
agricultural sector in the national economy the investments are of minor
share in the investments of the economic plan, as it reached about 5.47% of
the total investments of the national economic plan (1988/8~2001/02).
The research aims to Identifing the resources of funds and studying
the current sitiuation of the most Important resources on the national and
foreign level, and comparing it to national economy and its development.
The sesearch diseussed the development of national and foreign
investments in the agricultural sector during the period (1988/8~2001/02).
The reseach reached the conclusion that the national inrestment
bank gives funds to many inistitutes and departments in the agricultural
sector and it alo shares in the investments of the national agricultural plan
with about 67.85% of the plans investments. The study recomends
considering balance in the distribution of loans and increasing the
investments of the agriculural sector to have the same share as other
national sectors.
