Abstract
The problem of saving the animal fodder is concede red the most
important problems which prevent the expansion policy of the animal
production, which rising the prices of fodder componant particularly the
concentrated feed that has high proportion of protein, So the utilization try of
the plant residues of the field crops by transmutation it to the non-tradational
animal fodder that low-priced that give double benefit, that making away with
the plant residues for protection the human and inviomment from danger of
pollution, in addition to the production of animal fodder which is safe and
cheap.
This, with treatment that residues either by injecting it with ammonia
Gas with rate 3 %, or by addition urea with rate 3% also, this for the dry
residues. As for the green residues as maize stem or the straw some of crops
are changed to sellage.
The problem of the research concentrates in the direction for making
away with plant residues scientificly and usefully, by changing it into animal
fodder. The research aims at studing the production cost of fodder from plant
residues, and studing the economic effects for using the secondary products
of crops for industrialization the non-traditional fodder and using it in feeding
the farm animals.
The object of this research studys of economic effects for use the plant
residues in production animal feed in EI Gharbia governorate. Some of the
results of the study are:
. - EI Gharbia governorate was produced 4375 ton from plant residues feed
treatmented by Ammonia Gas, 5272 ton from plant residues feed
treatmented by Urea and 103304 ton from cellage during the period ( 2003
- 2005).
- In the sample, ( 2004 /2005 season) average of production cost ton from
paint residues feed by : Ammonia Gas, Urea, cellage maize and cell age
plant residues are 175, 125, 182, 115 LE respectively.
- using 1.5 ton of plant residues feed Equal "1" ton of concentrate feed.
- Naurishment 1.5 ton of fodder produced of plant residues for animals, save
77.5 % from the value of "1" ton of concentrate feeds.
- the sample farmers opinions are about 70 % of their knowledge of
manufacturing the plant residues that comeback to the agricultural
extension, 32 % from sample farmers are seing that the useful proportion of
the plant residues reached about 50 % and about 42% of the sample
farmers seing that their using of the plant residues fodder save 50 % of
concentrated feeds.
