THE ROLE OF AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE AS A NON- GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION IN THE INTEGRATED RURAL SUSTAMBLE DEVELOPMENT WITH THE ECONOMICAL LIBERALIZATION POLICY.

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the role of agricultural cooperatives as non -
governmental organization. It also aimed at recognizing some important factors that
relate and affect the activities and their relative importance in order to suggest how
to activate the cooperatives roles of as non - governmental organizations in
integrated rural development.
The results of this study indicated that cooperatives have been Participated
in some developmental activities such as infrastructural, Social, cultural and
economical projects. In addition, the results indicated that variables of degree of
centerlization , organizational coordination, degree of obility for adjustment ,
availability associated and affecting of basic Services in the village were significantly
the cooperative's popular activities.
Furthermore the results have indicted that - in spite of - the economical
liberalization policy the results indicated that agricultural cooperative as individual
society is mat yet able to take its decision freely, because it follows hyrarcal system
which control its decisions However, the results showed that agricultural cooperatives
had positively contributed to social and economical development of rural society .
