Abstract
Investment is one of the major tool in socioeconomic development
plan. This research aims to study the agricultural investments condition and
its economic impact during the period of partial economic liberation (86/93)
and total liberation (93/2001). These periods are sufficient for measurement
analysis and evaluation. Thus the analysis depended on the selection of
various quantitative and descriptive analysis ways that serves the aims of the
study and reflects the changes during these periods.
The results of the study showed an increase of the value of
agricultural investments, as it reached about LE. 12.84 Billion, which
represents 9.52% of the total national investments.
The public and private sectors share was LE. 7.64 and 5.2 Billion
comprising of 59.45%, 40.55% respectively of the total agricultural
investments during the first period.
The agricultural investments rised during the second period to LE.
51.75 Billion, 11.53% of the total national investments. The share of public
and private sector was LE. 20.50, 31.25 Billion representing 39.37%, 60.27%
respectively of the total national agricultural investments.
The study recommends working on the continuous development of
investments climate to attract national and agricultural investments through
Jjevelopment of lows and guarantees.
